MARGAO: The Additional Sessions Judge, Margao, on Thursday allowed the intervention application filed by the mother of late Danielle who was allegedly raped and murdered by Vikat Bhagat.
The application was filed seeking permission to assist the prosecution in the case against Vikat Bhagat.
Meanwhile, the arguments on the application of the accused for release of the vehicle will be heard on January 12.
The intervention for assisting the PP was moved on behalf of Danielle’s mother Andrea Brannigan. Now Advocate Vikram Verma will assist the prosecution in the case.
Vikat’s father Surendra through his power of Attorney had earlier moved an application seeking release of the Activa scooter attached by the police.
