Data entry operators at Ponda SDH withdraw strike

PONDA: Data entry operators working under contract at Ponda Sub District Hospital who had gone on strike yesterday for demand to salary hike and confirmation in service today declared that they are withdrawing back their strike and would join duty from tomorrow.

Ajay Satarkar informed that the Bangalore based private company that they are employed with have agreed to their demands of salary raise and confirmation of services.

Around nine data entry operators had gone on a flash strike on Monday. The operators have been performing the job of online registration of patients coming for treatment at OPD, X-Ray, blood check, ultrasound, patient admission including collection of case paper fees from patients.
