Davorlim locals demand new culvert

MARGAO, SEPT 25
The Davorlim panchayat has asked the district Collector, South G P Naik to look into the need for building a new culvert near the Power House bordering Davorlim village.
In a letter, Sarpanch Sandeep Verlekar drew attention of the district Collector to the complaints received from local residents about the weak condition of the culvert, which is likely to cave in view of plying of heavy vehicles on the road.
The weak culvert has been agitating the minds of the local people.
The locals have been demanding that a new culvert be built at the same place at the earliest.
