MARGAO: A youth from Davorlim died in a tragic accident in Houston-Texas, USA.
Freddy Colaco, 32, who was a store in-charge at a store in Houston, died in a tragic car accident in Aldin Bender Road in Harris County, Texas. Freddy was in Texas for the last four years.
The incident is reported to have happened on Sunday midnight and the news of his death reached on Tuesday. Freddy was the only support to his elderly mother; his father had died some years ago. The entire village is in grief due to the unexpected death of the youth from their locality.
According to the information, while Freddy was heading back home from work he reached 400, Aldine Bender Road and while travelling in his black Optima car he did not notice the signal turned red. He lost control over the car and slammed into the concrete sidewall and died instantly leaving the car in a mangled piece of metal.
