VASCO: Laurina D’Cunha was elected unopposed as Sarpanch of Bogmalo on Thursday. as only she had filed the application for the post.
After her election, D’Cunha said she would work to build football ground, new panchayat ghar and other important works. She thanked Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho for his support and also her fellow panch members for electing her unopposed.
She also said that she would work to get the internal roads tarred, repair the streetlights and solve water shortage.
