PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday said that the government will find a solution to relocate displaced kiosk owners and fruit vendors at Bambolim within next eight days.
As many as 38 kiosk owners and 16 fruit vendors were evicted outside the GMC complex, Bambolim in July this year.
Replying to a zero hour mention by Santa Cruz MLA Tony Fernandes in the Legislative Assembly, Sawant said that five kiosks which were allowed under the Deendayal scheme will be rehabilitated as per the High Court order while, a decision to relocate remaining 33 kiosks and 16 fruit vendors will be taken by the North Collector within next eight days.
