MARGAO: A week after the decomposed body of a woman was found in a private property at Balli, Cuncolim police claimed to have ascertained her identity as Bitty Varak (80) of Cuncolim. She was missing from home.
According to police she was identified by her son based on her clothes and finger ring.
“It appears that women came in contact with live electrical wire and it is a case of accidental electrocution however further investigation is in progress”, said the police.
She was seen by locals some days back. The body has been sent to hospital for post-mortem examination.
