MARGAO: Quepem police found the decomposed body of an unknown male in a forest area at Gotnamoddi, Tilamol Quepem.
Police inspector of Quepem police station Deepak Pedneker when contacted said that the body was found hanging to a branch of a cashew tree with a nylon rope.
He said that the body has been preserved at South Goa District Hospital, after conducting a scene of unnatural death occurrence panchnama and inquest panchnama. PSI Veronica Coutinho and staff visited the place and conducted all legal formalities.
According to police one person by name Xavier Pereira of Gotnamoddi Tilamol Quepem informer police about the male person found hanging to a cashew tree in the jungle. Police said that he is having black scalp hairs, complexion wheatish, built thin, wearing yellow T-shirt and pair of jean paint. No note has been found at the place.
PSI Coutinho is investigating under the supervision of PI Deepak Pednekar.
