MARGAO: The Cuncolim police on Friday recovered the decomposed body of one Puno Velip from Morpirla forest in Quepem taluka.
The police said that they found a skeleton and remains of the deceased and the body has been preserved at the T B Hospital, Margao for post-mortem examination.
The body was identified by Velip’s son and it was not known how the deceased reached the forest. Velip was reported missing for the last few days and the police have ruled out foul play. The police have registered the case as an unnatural death and are conducting further investigations.
