PANJIM: The Archdiocese of Goa on Monday issued a decree to formally announce that the decennial exposition of the sacred relic of St Francis Xavier will take place in 2014.
“In conformity with a long-standing practice, followed in this Archdiocese, of holding the Solemn Exposition of the Sacred Relic of St Francis Xavier every 10 years, we determine that the solemn exposition of the Sacred Relics of St Francis Xavier be held in 2014, beginning on November 22 and end on January 4, 2015, the feast of the Epiphany of the Lord,” states a press note issued by Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media-Goa. A committee to deal with the matters of
the solemn exposition of the sacred relics of St Francis Xavier will be appointed soon, the press note added.
