PORVORIM: The State government may consider leading a delegation to Union Ministry of Defence seeking clarification on their latest regulation, restricting zoning and elevation control under the defence assets in Vasco.
Minister for Town and Country Planning Vishwajit Rane informed the House that the government is making every effort to work out solution on the issue. “If required we will also lead a delegation to Union Ministry,” he said.

Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar urged the government to take steps at the Central Level to find an acceptable solution so that construction activity in the city doesn’t come to a halt, and the security needs are met as well.
