PANJIM: A delegation of Senior citizens met Director of Social Welfare Ajit Panchwadkar and submitted a 10-point demands on Friday, on the eve of World Elders Abuse Awareness Day.

The delegation urged the Director to revamp the District Senior Citizens Committees to give taluka representation and to appoint a full-time District Nodal Officer for implementation of the MWPSC Act 2007 and Rules 2009.
