PERNEM: Pernem Police on Friday arrested one Ashok Wadia, a native of native, for driving his luxurious car on Morjim Beach.
According to Pernem Police Station Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi, they received a call informing that one person is driving his luxurious car on Morjim Beach thereby putting the lives of people at risk further causing injuries or fatalities. The car was identified as Toyota Prado.

Acting on the information, immediately an FIR under Section 188, 269, 279, 336 of Indian Penal Code was registered and the vehicle along with its driver/owner was traced and was placed under arrest.
The police have also attached the car under panchanama and further investigation is in progress.
