MARGAO: Colva Police arrested 26-year-old Delhiite Vikesh Kumar for murder attempt on his friend 23-year-old Bhushan Kumar from Bihar .
Colva police have registered an offence against Vikesh under Section 307 of the IPC . Police said the incident took place on Tuesday late night at Mobor-Cavelossim outside a rented room. According to Colva Police, the accused, victim and another friend came to Colva from Delhi in connection with some urgent work and were residing in a rented room at Cavelossim.
While they were sitting outside having drinks, the accused entered into an argument with Bhushan and assaulted him with a bottle causing head injuries. Bhushan was taken to Hospicio Hospital,Margao and later shifted to GMC.
