PANJIM: The State government has initiated process to identify fishermen’s houses and to demarcate the fishing boundaries across 132 wards of North Goa.
The draft Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) has recommended regularisation of traditional dwelling units of fishing community within 100-200 metres of High Tide Line (HTL).
The Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has invited bids for identification of fisherman houses and demarcation of the fishing boundaries across 132 wards of North Goa. The last date for online submission of the bid is June 18.
