Dengue cases spike in Priol

PONDA: Six suspected cases of dengue have been reported at the Bethki Primary Health Centre (PHC), prompting medical officials to issue a call for citizens to adopt preventive measures. The affected region includes four panchayats falling under the Priol constituency.

Dr Brenda Pinto, a health officer at Bethki PHC, said that the afflicted individuals are being treated based on their symptoms. The confirmed cases were identified in localities such as Marcel, Khandola, Adkolna, and Santistey. Fogging operations have been conducted in these areas.
