SANGUEM: The citizens from Sanguem are literally worried over the outbreak of three dengue cases in Sanguem town.
Seriously concerned over the issue, youth leader Messiah D’Costa led a delegation to the Sanitary Inspector Vinay Naik at Sanguem PHC and appraised him on the issue and expressed urgent need for fogging and spraying in all the 10 wards of Sanguem Municipal area.
D’Costa, accompanied by others, submitted a memorandum to the sanitary inspector highlighting the outbreak of dengue cases in Sanguem. In the memorandum, the citizens complimented Sanitary Inspector Vinay Naik and his team for undertaking fogging at Kharkhatiaghati and other neighbouring areas where the first dengue case in Sanguem was detected. Incidentally, Sanitary Inspector Naik informed the delegation that he is unable to fog all the wards unless there are dengue cases reported in those areas.
