Depleted Opposition turns on the heat, say if there is no Mhadei then there is no Goa

Dressed in black, depleted Goa’s Opposition turned on the heat on the first day of the Assembly session, saying if there is no Mhadei then there is no Goa. The Goa Opposition put out a united front to save Goa’s lifeline –Mhadei on Goa’s 56th Opinion Poll Anniversary.

Speaking outside the assembly, Aldona MLA, Carlos Alvares Ferreira stated that Goa exists because of the opinion poll, and if there is no Mhadei then there is no Goa. He stated that in the fight to save Mhadei, everyone should come together as the fight is Goa v/s the rest. Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao stated that Goa’s identity is at stake.

“One incomplete airport with an incomplete name was inaugurated. They said mining has been resumed but it’s not, still, they held an event. All these “M’s” have failed as the government is only interested in the other “M” which is money, and for money, they have sold off Mhadei”, said GFP President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai.
