PONDA: Office of Deputy Collector at Margao on Thursday issued show cause notice cum stop work order to Bethora locals in connection with hill cutting activities below electricity tower at Curti within 24 hours of receiving notice.
Reportedly, last week Ponda ]ocal Sandeep Parkar had complained of illegal hill cutting without displaying proper notice board at site and flying squad had inspected following his complaint.
The flying squad later complained to Deputy Collector South Goa district following which show cause notice was issued to two Bethora locals who were involved in hill cutting.
