Addressing the audience, Faleiro recalled the unity existing among different communities for years and highlighted the need to retain the same unity.
While praising the diversity prevalent in India, Faleiro spoke about how the constitution of India has enshrined principles like peace, love and brotherhood.
The GPCC president also made an oblique reference to the dark clouds hovering over the country recently with divisive intentions and propaganda and how he was still confident that this will never happen in India.
Reiterating the need to safeguard unity, Faleiro emphasized how there is development and love where unity prevails with the blessing of God.
Fr Avinash Rebello expressed how it was of utmost importance that all communities have to stay together and united and to spread the language of love.
Art and Living foundation Goa representative Dr Venkatesh Hegde focused on how important it was to be a good human being first rather than from a religious aspect. He stressed on how good human values are an important part of our lives and how there is spiritual strength even though there exists several religions, castes and creeds in India.
