PANJIM: Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Kumar, IPS, held a meeting of Chief Security Liaison Officers (CSLOs) of vital installations in Goa in view of forthcoming Independence Day celebrations and a number of major events like Chaturthi, Diwali, decennial Exposition of St Francis Xavier, IFFI, WAVES, Sunburn festival and other year-end festivities to be held in Goa.
According to a statement, the DGP laid emphasis on improving physical infrastructure, laying down robust security protocol, close coordination between various agencies, upgradation of skills of personnel, regular security audit of installations and periodic meetings between agencies.
Senior officers of Goa Police were also present in the meeting, the statement said.
