Ponda: Mangueshi Priest Dhanajay Bhave who surrendered yesterday will be produced before JMFC Ponda on Thursday for remand in second molestation case. It may be recalled that Bhave who was absconding and whose bail pleas were rejected in District Court and HC surrendered to JMFC yesterday and filed an interim bail but was rejected by JMFC. Following this the Police arrested him and produced him before court for remand in the first molestation case.
He was remanded to two days following which police officials started his investigation in the first case. Police officials said he would be produced in JMFC to seek remand in the second molestation case registered against him by another girl on August 23.
Meanwhile it is learnt from Police sources the police will record the video conferencing statement of US based victim.
