Dhavlikar brothers had planned to merge MGP into BJP: Lavoo

PONDA: MGP former general secretary Lavoo Mamledar who was expelled from party on Saturday said that the Dhavlikar brothers, Sudin and Deepak Dhavlikar had in the past planned to merge MGP into the BJP and claimed that he had stopped the move and since then his relation with MGP has been strained.
Speaking in an interview to a news channel today,
Mamledar said he was against the merger as it would have left the Bahujans with no political party.
He said even though he is expelled from party he would work in the interest and growth of the party. He said the Dhavlikar brothers were never interested in the growth of the party and he infact doubted if the donations given to the MGP were transfered to Dhavlikar Trust.
He said this Trust donated tanks to Shiroda locals which shows that this is done by them at a personal level, while the same work if it had been done in the name of the party it would have helped the party earn reputation among people and helped the growth of party.
