BENAULIM: Yet another banned bullfight commonly known as dhirios was clandestinely organised on Sunday afternoon next to the Livrament Church cemetery in Mazilwaddo, Benaulim once again escaping the attention of the law enforcement authorities.
When contacted, Colva police divulged to Herald that no complaint had been lodged regarding the illegal dhirio organised in their vicinity and further had no information regarding it. Despite the Bombay High Court at Goa banning dhirios, it continues to be staged.
Recently, on January 21, dhirios were staged at Majorda and Varca.
