VALPOI: The Director of Health Services Dr Sanjay Dalvi has said that the diarrhoea outbreak in Charawane has been brought under control after people stopped drinking contaminated water.
“The villagers suffered diarrhea after drinking contaminated water. Now everything is under control and fortunately there is no serious problem,” Dr Dalvi told Herald.
“We have received report of the water samples collected in Charawane and the report says that the water in the village is polluted. We have already informed the water supply department engineer and told him to supply the clean water,” Dr Dalvi added.
