PANJIM: The Diocesan Catechetical Centre (DCC) celebrated the Extraordinary Missionary Month October 2019 by visiting the Missions of Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Teachers from the Archdiocesan Board of Education schools along with the DCC team found this mission visit very faith enriching. It was an eye opener to the missionary work done by the priests, religious and laity who spread the love of Christ and service towards the tribal community who are now active parishioners.
The team had a first-hand experience of the missionary work carried out through education and standard of living. The teachers were overwhelmed to see the deep faith of the parishioners which led to the deepening and strengthening of their own faith.
The team also contributed generously towards the poor and the needy.
The pilgrimage to the Dongor Mauli at Dudhni in spite of being an ordeal led to the feeling of oneness with God and His Creation through the intercession of Mother Mary.
