PANJIM: Air India has announced a daily direct flight from Goa to Muscat with a stopover in Mumbai from November 16, to cash in on the potential ‘richie-rich’ tourists from the Gulf country and cater to Goans returning home, following a request from the State government.
Considering the difficulty faced by a substantial number of Goans NRI Commissioner Dr Wilfred Mesquita had written to the Union Minister for Civil Aviation last month requesting for direct Goa to Muscat flights.
