PANJIM: Locals of Sao Mathias, Divar Island are unhappy with the quality of roads and that their grievances on this issue have not been addressed by the PWD.
Alleging that the roads were not checked by the department properly at the time when the road works were completed last year, local resident Agnelo Menezes pointed out that the roads, which were of poor quality to start with, have deteriorated even further since then.
The locals demanded that the PWD rectifies the issues with the road as soon as possible before the approaching monsoon season.
