PANJIM: The Old Goa Police booked a Divar resident for allegedly assaulting a 52-year-old man hailing from the same village.
The accused has been identified as Avinash Cabral.
According to the police, one Prasad Harmalkar from Shikeriwada, Diwar, lodged a complaint stating that on Saturday, April 6, at the accused abused and assaulted him at the Ferry Wharf causing him simple bodily injuries.
An offence has been registered at the the Old Goa Police Station under section 324, 504 and 506 (ii) of IPC.
