PANJIM: The Directorate of Education (DoE) on Tuesday rescheduled the Diwali vacations for schools in view of National Games, which commences in the State from October 25 this year.
“In view of the 37th National Games, 2023, being hosted by the Government of Goa, the Diwali vacation schedule stands re-scheduled from October 25, 2023, to November 18, 2023. As such the second term will commence from November 20, 2023,” a circular from the Director of Education Shailesh R S Zingde said.
Earlier, the Directorate of Education had notified Diwali vacation from November 8 to 26 this year, while the second term was scheduled between November 27 and April 30, 2024.
