MARGAO: Condemning the act of church demolition at South Delhi, Franky D’Mello, Nuvem block president of Nationalistic Congress Party (NCP) on Friday appealed to the Goans not to trust Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or Aam Admi party.
His apprehension is that one day Goans will regret supporting AAP.
Briefing the media persons at Margao, Franky said that the Catholic Church has played a significant role in educating people and helping those in need. “Instead of letting the church authorities complete their judicial efforts to save the church, AAP betrayed the trust that the people of the Catholic faith in Delhi bestowed on him”, he alleged.
“Is AAP telling us that the State government had no powers to negotiate with DDA and make them delay the demolition? If this is true then it proves that Kejriwal is running a weak government controlled directly by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, he alleged.
