CALANGUTE: Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) officials visited the Calangute MLA’s office to help the villagers of Calangute, Candolim and surrounding areas with the documentation process for consent to operate their guesthouses.
Lobo urged the other MLAs, especially the coastal MLAs, to carry out the documentation process in their constituencies to help the people of Goa.
He added that many people are not computer savvy to do their documentations online, and hence, GSPCB had taken the initiative to help the villagers of Calangute, Candolim, and Arpora-Nagoa.
Calangute ZP Member Shawn Martins also helped the elderly with their documentations.
GSPCB officials have been directed to conduct similar exercises in others villages as well.
