PANJIM: The Directorate of Education (DoE) has asked higher secondary students to participate in the National Youth Parliament (NYP), scheduled to be held from November 10-11.
As a part of ‘Celebration of Democracy’- as Goa completes 60 years of Liberation, the Goa Legislative Assembly has organized three conclaves for the women and youth of Goa.
In a circular issued to higher secondary schools, the DoE has said that necessary transport arrangements will be made for the students to participate in the Youth Parliament.
National Youth Parliament (NYP) seeks to create ethical, spirited, and competent youth centric public leadership.
The conclaves, organised by Goa Assembly, will be conducted by MIT School of Government (SOG), Pune, and supported by Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium.
The conclaves will focus on the challenges faced by the youths.
