PANJIM: Directorate of Education (DoE) has withdrawn its blanket NOC issued to all aided secondary and higher secondary schools to fill up permanent vacancies caused due to retirement or resignation or demise of teaching and non-teaching staff.
In a circular issued on Thursday, Director Vandana Rao directed schools to approach the department for necessary NOC before filling up of the posts.
Rao said that the blanket NOC, addendum and circular to fill up permanent vacancies caused due to retirement on superannuation, resignation and demise of teaching and non-teaching staff of grant-in- aid institutions stands withdrawn with immediate effect.
The school managements have been directed to approach respective for NOC for leave vacancies. The decision has been taken following government approval, Rao said.
