Door opens for eco-tourism in Netravali from today

SANGUEM: Following persistent demands from the villagers and those associated with eco-tourism related activities in Netravali village, Sanguem Deputy Collector Sagar Gaude on Saturday gave permission to the villagers to start with ecotourism related activities and also permitted entry to tourism related activities with effect from August 15.
Deputy Collector Gaude, however, urged the villagers and those visiting the tourist places in the village to follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as outbreak of COVID-19 cases still linger on and the villagers need to strictly follow the guidelines in safety of them and tourists.
It is pertinent to note that Netravali village has several tourism related spots, which are widely visited by the tourists all year around.
During monsoon, large number of people rushes to the village to visit Mainapi and Savari waterfalls besides having a glimpse of Dattagufa, Budbudi Toli and the hilly areas of Verlem and Salgini.
