CVF president Irish Passainha said the Mopa airport was the creation of the Congress during its tenure, adding that the party had enough time to do a re-think on the proposal and take suitable decision at the relevant after taking into consideration all the aspects such as existing tourism industry, faith of all the dependent stakeholders, existing airport and taking them all into confidence.
“Instead of doing homework properly, all the politicians first grabbed huge chunk of land thinking only about their selfish interest to earn at the cost of Goans who are completely dependent on the tourism industry base on present infrastructure connected to existing Dabolim airport”, he said.
