Earlier Bishop Alwyn Barreto was the main celebrant at the concelebrated mass with eight priests.
Fr Noel delivered the homily highlighting Dr Mascarenhas’ simplicity, humility, sense of duty, commitment with responsibility, and emphasised his charitable values towards poor.
Dr Francisco Colaco spoke profusely about Dr Mascarenhas’ qualities of heart and soul and his personal experience as friend. He also commended his professional skills, inclination towards the poor, desire to keep abreast and grow in his field.
