Team Jerseys unveiled for the +45 Veterans and U25 Boys
Cricket teams. Dr. Sagar Salgaocar, CEO and owner of Estilo Moderno Realty and
Geno Pharmaceuticals inaugurated the Desserts n More Sarsangan +45 Veterans and
U25 Boys White leather ball T20 Cricket Series powered by Commonwealth
Developers Pvt Ltd, and organised by Saraswat Sports Sangh at the Arlem Cricket
Ground. Speaking on the occasion as the
Chief Guest, he said Sarsangan has emerged as a platform for budding cricketers
to showcase their talent, thus encouraging lot many players to take up the
sport.
Ar. Gomakant Mahambrey, informed that the 7 month long
tournament to be played on Sundays and Public Holidays, features 4 events with
8 teams in Super Series, 3 teams in +45 Veterans Series, 3 teams in u25 Boys
Series and 8 teams in Tennis Cricket.
In the +45 Veterans and u25 Boys Cricket Series, each of the
teams plays the other 2 opponents twice in round robin format in white leather
ball T20 Cricket matches with the top two teams playing the Finals on 31st
December 2023. The Super Series starts on 14th January 2024 with each of the 8
teams playing the other teams in a round robin format in white leather ball T20
Cricket matches with the top 4 making the knockouts, the finals will be played
on 28th April 2024.
A total of 3 Teams namely: Mapusa Dream Crushers of Rajesh
Colvalcar, Delite Titans of Vinayak Nayak & Vallabh Pai and Pai Khot
Fighters of Rasik Pai Khot will feature in +45 Veterans Cricket Series, while 3
Teams namely: Salcete Young Stallions of Jaiprakash Sinai Kunde & Aditya
Prabhugaonkar, Delite Titans of Vinayak Nayak & Nagnath Shanbhag and Pai Khot
Fighters of Rasik Pai Khot will feature in u25 Boys Cricket Series.
A total of 8 Teams namely: Estilo Legends of Dr. Sagar
Salgaocar, Salcete Stallions of Jaiprakash Sinai Kunde, Delite Titans of
Vinayak Nayak & Tanmay Sukhtankar, Priority Titans of Dinesh Pai &
Swapneel Nachinolkar, Mapusa Dream
Crushers of Rajesh Colvalcar, Panjim Powerplay of Harshvatdhan Bhatkuly, MLT
PDK Kings of Rahul Dhond & Siddesh Sinai Amonkar and Ultracon Madgaon
Royals of Damodar Pai Patnekar & Ashesh Pai Dukle will feature in Super
Series Cricket.
A total of 225 players were bought at the 3 Auctions held
recently. While proposing the Vote of Thanks, Shiraj Pai Khot, appealed to the
Saraswat Community in Goa to support the talented players, in their capacity,
during Sarsangan where in the players will fight it out in a total of 61
matches in the 4 Sarsangan cricket events to be held from 19th November 2023 to
12th May 2024
