MARGAO: The Dramapur-Sirlim village Panchayat has adopted a resolution to hold a joint inspection with Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) to verify the status of village road built by the agency.
Panch member Domnick Norohna said the resolution was taken by the panchayat body following a complaint that hot mix carpeting and improvement of some of the internal roads were not completed by the agency as per the tender.
“The panchayat is in receipt of a complaint to verify the hot mixing works carried out by the GSIDC. We had placed the complaint before the panchayat body and it was resolved to hold a joint inspection with GSIDC officials,” Norohna said.
It was pointed out that the panchayat will soon write to the GSIDC to deputy its officials for the joint inspection.
