The petition will come up for arguments on Thursday.
The lifeguards, supported by the All India Trade Union Congress, have threatened to boycott work once every month until the government fulfills their demands.
The labour union alleged that the affected lifeguards had withdrawn their indefinite strike on January 13, 2016 after the government assured to fulfill promises only to break it later.
With no relief so far, the lifeguards have planned to strike work on Saturday and Sunday. To restrain them from going ahead with the strike, Drishti moved the High Court on Tuesday.
