PANJIM: The Old Goa police have registered an offence against a bus driver for allegedly driving a vehicle rash and negligently resulting in injuring three passengers.
Old Goa PI, Jivba Dalvi said that Sebastian Souza, 30 years, was rashly and negligently driving mini bus when he dashed the vehicle against another mini bus at Mint Fort ITI Corlim on NH 4A, on Thursday evening. As per the police complaint, he was trying to overtake the other mini bus resulting in the accident.
Three women passengers travelling in the bus driven by the errant driver sustained injuries. One of them even fractured her hand. Fortunately, other occupants escaped unhurt, the PI said.
The driver is booked under IPC.
