PERNEM: A tipper truck rammed into a mango tree and then hit a hotel owned by one Ghurea, a resident of Torxem, on Saturday.
Anil Sathe, the driver of the vehicle from Kolhapur, got trapped in the cabin after the accident and was rescued by the Pernem Fire Force. The driver was treated in a local hospital for minor injuries.
The fire team consisted of Prashant Dhargalkar, Fatu Naik, Prashant Sawal Desai,Vithal Parab, Sameer Korgaonkar and others.
