PANJIM: The Panjim police have arrested a youth from Karnataka for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 2 lakh.
Panjim police inspector Siddhart Shirodkar said the alleged drug peddler Maruti Harijan (19) was caught red-handed in possession of 2 kg of ganja.
The youth temporarily resides at Chimbel and is a native of Tumkur, Karnataka.
The raid was carried out based on a tip-off in front of Collectorate building at around 5:30 pm.
