PANJIM: An international drug smuggler was arrested by Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) with a huge consignment of Charas from Anjuna, late Saturday night.
29-year-old Lesotho national Jade Paulo Will was caught with five kilograms Charas, worth Rs five lakh in the international market.
ANC team made the seizure when the peddler was waiting for his prospective customer near Anjuna petrol pump at about 10:30pm. He has been arrested under various sections of NDPA Act and remanded.
He is being interrogated for further details including links with drug barons in the State and outside among others.
Director General of Police Kishan Kumar has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for the team.
