PORVORIM: The Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) of Goa police has seized drugs worth over Rs 13 crore in last six months as it has registered 106 cases in all. The cases are registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act involving foreign as well as Indian nationals. In a reply tabled on the Floor of the House by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, it is observed that the majority seizures are of ganja, followed by cocaine and charas. The total seizure value is around 13.73 crores. Of these 106 only five cases have gone for trial while rest are still under investigation.
