PANJIM: Crime Branch sleuths have made one of the biggest drug seizures of Rs 10.35 lakh this tourist season and arrested a German for possessing the contraband substance. Superintendent of Police (SP) Kartik Kashyap informed that Florian Kern, aged 33 years was caught red handed in possession of six transparent autopress polythene packets containing blackish substance suspected to be charas. The alleged drug trafficker was also caught red handed for allegedly possessing LSD. The total value of the seized narcotics is valued at Rs 10.35 lakh in the international market. The raid was carried out at Kern’s temporary accommodation at Siolim in the intervening hours of Thursday-Friday. “He is in police custody and interrogation is on,” an officer said.
