Drunk tourists create a ruckus in Korgao

In an incident near the Korgao ground in Pernem, two intoxicated tourists caused a commotion that left onlookers both puzzled and concerned. The inebriated duo, who had rented a car, engaged in a heated argument over who should drive the vehicle, despite not possessing the car key. Their relentless determination to get behind the wheel, despite being unable to stand on their own feet, drew the attention of locals who intervened to prevent a potential disaster.

Witnesses described how the local residents, realizing the danger the drunken tourists posed to themselves and others, promptly restrained the duo from accessing the car. The tourists’ insistence on driving the vehicle without the key added to the confusion, and it became evident that immediate intervention was necessary.

With the situation rapidly escalating, the locals swiftly called the police for assistance. Responding promptly, a police patrol jeep arrived at the scene to handle the situation. However, even the presence of law enforcement failed to dissuade the two intoxicated men from their reckless intentions.

The drunk tourists continued to quarrel with the police officers, displaying a complete disregard for authority and public safety. Onlookers contemplated how the duo managed to travel all the way from Vasco to Pernem without encountering traffic cops.
