The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Goa has issued a weather warning for the state, indicating that hot and humid conditions will prevail in isolated areas on 01st and 02nd May 2024. However, overall weather conditions are expected to remain fine, with temperatures under control across the North Goa and South Goa districts.
Over the past 24 hours, no heatwaves were recorded with the state experiencing the maximum temperature in the range of 34-36 degrees Celsius over North & South Goa districts for the next 7 days. No Large Change in maximum temperature for the next 5 days. No significant change in Relative Humidity & Wind speed is expected during the next 7 days. The heat index is expected to be below 40 degrees Celsius during the next 7 days
In both districts, the weather will likely be dry from 1st May to 7th May 2024. There’s likely to be haze in the morning at isolated places on the 1st and 2nd of May. No big changes in maximum temperature during the next 5 days will be seen in North and South Goa districts, the IMD Panjim reported.
