PANJIM: The Department of Social Welfare has issued a statement on Tuesday informing the public that the financial assistance under Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSSS) has been disbursed to the beneficiaries up to April 2021.
The amount for the month of May 2021 will be released shortly, the department added.
The department issued this statement while seeking to put rest to speculation that DSSS amounts had not been released to their respective beneficiaries for the last three months.
