PANJIM: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), with Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), recently held sessions in five engineering colleges in a bid to sensitise students by giving them inputs on how to go about their final year projects.
Speaking to Herald, DTE Chairman, Vivek Kamat said, “This year students who would be going to the final year next year have been given inputs on how to go about deciding what project work they should do, then what is the importance of project work.”
“Last year we arranged for a session in which 40 industry representatives were invited and on the other side we had student groups from five engineering colleges that were around 120 groups who were doing their final year projects and they were interested in some support from the industries. This support can be in terms of financial support or technical guidance,” Kamat said.
